Gospel Singer Ama Boahemaa Wanted By Police

It is so disgusting when our celebrities find themselves in troubles they could have avoided. Ama Boahema can never be ruled out when it comes to gospel music in Ghana.

She has been in the music industry for the past years since her first hit album “Bue Kwan ma me”. Ama Boahema, formally of Dapaah Music Production but now with Spirit Music has involved herself in a supposed illegal case that happens to be between her former producer Mr. Clement Owusu Dapaah and a complaint Mr. Brobbey Johnson Ohene.

The issue has it that Mr. Clement Dapaah, Ama Boahema’s former producer was recommended by somebody to Mr. Brobbey Johnson to help him attain a visa to Italy. Mr. Brobbey was told to get an amount of two thousand Ghana Cedis (2000Gh¢) down for the visa contract but Dapaah asked Mr. Brobbey to add additional thousand cedis (1000Gh¢) to the money.

Since he needed the visa urgently for his business transactions in Italy, he immediately added the agreed price for purposeful reasons. The issue continued that after Dapaah had taken the money from Brobbey, he found his way out to Italy leaving Brobbey behind.

Mr. Brobbey after realizing that Dapaah can dupe him, reported the case at the Police Headquarters living it in the hands of one officer called Israel. There was no case until Mr. Dapaah came back from Italy and a different police officer called Stephen effected his arrest at Antrack Air lines on the 1st of July 2007.

When your authoritative Flex newspaper called on Mr. Brobbey to confirm the realities of the case, he had this to say. “Ama got involved in this case when Mr. Dapaah was arrested, he followed him to the police station with a pastor called Rev. Rockson Oduro to bail him and since then we have not seen either Ama Boahema or Mr. Dapaah for three years now.

I am stuck in the country for the past three years now. I am stuck in the country for the past three years aimlessly. Now the police is looking for her to effect her arrest for that guarantee. She has changed all her lines and has also relocated from her former house. We are appealing to the general public that, anybody with a useful information that can led to the arrest of Ama Boahemaa will be given Gh¢1000”, Mr. Brobbey reiterated.

When this reporter called Ama Boahemaa upon hearing the case in its initial stages, she revealed this to him. “Yes, I know I’m owing them but please tell them to give me an additional one week and I will pay”. This promise was not fulfilled for about three weeks but now she has refused to answer any call or text messages he has been sending to her phone.
