Kofi Feelings is out with a new EP
Ghanaian highlife sensation Kofi Feelings has released his highly anticipated EP titled 'Increase Your Feelings'.
The five-track EP showcases Kofi Feelings' distinguished writing skills and his profound understanding of music. The album features songs like "Abuja Lady," "Go and Listen, Take It Easy, Adze bi No, and "Ebe ye Kwa," with production credits going to Jake On Da Beatz and the legendary sound engineer Zap Mallet.
The melodious singer, endowed with stupendous writing skills, has solidified his versatility on the EP, transitioning from composing solely highlife songs to afrobeats and afro-fusion masterpieces.
Speaking in an interview, Kofi Feelings, known for writing gospel songs like 'Confirm For Me' by Sunshine Selina and other popular tracks, disclosed that one of the songs on the EP, titled "Abuja Lady," aims to raise awareness about breast cancer.
He revealed that a close relative who passed away some years ago after battling breast cancer was the inspiration behind the "Abuja Lady" track on the EP.
"My song 'Abuja Lady,' which is on the EP, is meant to campaign against breast cancer because I have witnessed a family member die after suffering from the disease. I firmly believe that women are very important in our lives and they must be protected against any form of disease that will hinder their well-being, thus I composed this song to create awareness," he said.
He continued, "Aside from 'Abuja Lady,' which is to create breast cancer awareness, there is another song called 'Take It Easy' that advises today's youth to be very careful in life and not rush into doing things that will affect them negatively."
The 'Akyemfo Driver' composer expressed his readiness to take up ambassadorial roles to campaign against breast cancer in the country.
"I'm ever ready to be an ambassador against this deadly disease," Feelings revealed when asked during the interview.
Kofi Feelings assured fans of great music, stating that these tracks are unlike any other, with some being spiritual.
