The Chief executive officer of Agiecoat Music Production, Nana Asa Mensah, aka Agiecoat, has threatened to institute legal action against DJ Azigiza Jnr for his refusal to refund an amount of ?15 million he collected from him (Agiecoat) under the pretext that he would release his musical work to Agiecoat for production.
The embittered Agiecoat disclosed in a chat that he was not expecting Azigiza Jnr, who claimed to be a man of God to defraud him, adding that, ?I would not spare him this time around. I would make sure the police arrest and prosecute him for crime committed against humanity.
Narrating his ordeal, Nana Asa Mensah said, two years ago DJ pastor Azigiza Jnr who was working on his album visited his office for assistance. ?I showed interest in his musical album and agreed to produce his musical album for him, and gave him an amount of ?15 million?.
According to him, after paying the money to DJ Azigiza Jnr, he did not hear from again. He said a few months later, the said musical album was released on the music market under a different music label and being aired on various radio and TV stations.
?I have called him several times to demand a refund of my money but all have proved futile. DJ Azigiza later came to me after he had read a publication in Daily Guide somewhere last year, to plead with me to allow him time to refund the money, which he had, again, failed to honour?.
When asked whether he had reported the case to the police, Agiecoat, in his candid reply said, he decided not to report the case to the police, because Azigiza was able to plead with him, adding that, since he was reluctant to refund the money, he would make a formal complaint to the police, in due course.
When Beatwaves contacted Azigiza sometime back when the issue cropped up, he confirmed owing Agiecoat and promised to refund the money, but he has not done so.
