Adina Thembi Ndamse better known by her stage name Adina, a Ghanaian-South African singer, songwriter, actress and sometimes a model, has revealed on the mid-morning show on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM that, all her songs were written by professional song writers.
The musician who was the winner of music reality show Stars of the Future in 2008 told host, Sokoo Hemaa Kukua that, although she knows she is a good song writer, she prefers the services of other professional song writers to her songs due to the quality she wants.
She also explained that although she contributes to the songs, the actual lyrical contents are done by hired people.
When asked if she prefers people writing for her instead of writing herself, the musician responded saying, ‘’I know I can write, I just feel promotion is not a joke. You invest a lot of money and so if I am putting any music out, I always want to put my best foot forward. I would write in the future but for now, I’ve just left it for the songwriters.’’
Adina has released her latest work, 'Killing Me Softly' featuring Kwame Eugene.
