I'm not imitating anyone - Kumawood's Wayoosi

Ghanaian Actor Joseph Nana Osei Kofi known on screens as Wayoosi has released his latest single titled #Bieso.

The 'Bieso' features a Kumasi-based rapper Abusuapanin Chiki Checke. The song actually talks about love.

It got people amazed how he could give out such tunes with that sweet voice on a track. When SeanCitygh.com asked him why he had never made Ghanaians know he was a musician, Wayoosi in a response to that said;

"Whoever didn’t know I do music does not know my beginning and how I got into this creative arts industry. Boss, I started as a backing vocalist for Evang. Lord Kenya. I used to warm up the fans before Lord Kenya steps on stage, I started as a rapper and a singer, so doing music today is just entertaining my fan base,” Wayosi stated.

There have been claims that Wayoosi is emulating the likes of Kwaku Manu, Agya Koo and Lilwin who are also doing music but Osei Wayo dismisses that claims.

"Let me make this point, am not imitating or copying any of these actors, am doing my own thing," he fumed.

The Actor who began his acting career way back 2003 has been starring in countless movies in Ghana, he also see music as his hobby and always bring to his fans interesting music.

He is a product of Kings College in Kumasi but he learned painting as a Profession.
