Ghanaian musician and a former member of music group 'Double' has disclosed that he is struggling in the music industry after breaking away from his group.
According to Paa Kwesi, he is having challenges to get the attention of Ghanaian public, especially his fans.
A report put up by Zionfelix.net which quoted First News Network (FNN), indicated that though Paa Kwesi lamented about the matter, he expressed confidence for his career.
"We’re working hard to get to where we’re supposed to be. It’s been two years and everyone knows what happened. You know when a thing like that happens, nobody wants to listen to you so you need to keep pushing. It’s been full of ups and downs and very challenging but we’re looking forward to a bright future," Paa Kwesi said.
The report stated that the high-life musician in his conversation said people love him for being a member of ‘Double’ and not because he is going as a solo artiste.
However, Paa Kwesi admitted that he clearly understands the trend and will work hard to keep his shine.
“People don’t want to listen, they feel I can’t do it as a solo artiste, they love the Paa Kwesi as a member of ‘Dobble’ and not as a solo musician but we understand life so that is what we need to go through", he said.
Touching on his break away with his former group member, Paa Kwesi clarified that two of them agreed to go on their separate ways after a peaceful understanding.
