Rapper Medikal for the past years in the music game has not been seen with his mum anywhere in public but that changed over the weekend at the One-Week celebration of Ebony, Zionfelix.net observed.

The woman whose name Zionfelix.net gathers as Porshia Lamptey told Spyderlee Entertainment TV in an interview at the one-week observation of the late dancehall singjay that she always supports her son and his friends with prayers.

Madam Lamptey who was in attendance with her son at Ebony’s one-week memorial on Sunday, February 18 commenting on the death of Ebony with Spyderlee Entertainment TV further said that since the demise of the dancehall artiste, she’s never been the same. According to her, she feels Ebony is always with her in her room.

‘I’m a fan of my son Medikal but I love Ebony because she’s an upcoming artiste just as my son. I felt so bad when I heard of her death. In fact, for about four days, I wasn’t myself because I love her. The way she died, I just couldn’t stand it. For the four days, I couldn’t sleep in my room because it felt like I was staying with Ebony. I was feeling as though I was under the same roof with her,’ she said.

When asked how frequent she advises her son on how to keep away from trouble in the music industry, the ‘Too Risky’ crooner’s mum responded, ‘I do advise my son, not him alone but all those around him because I also see them as my children. I support him a lot with prayers because as a mother or as a parent, you always have to guard your child or your ward with prayers so that God’s hands will strongly be on him.’

Ebony died with two others in a fatal accident on February 8 on the Sunyani-Kumasi road when returning from Sunyani after a family. Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng as she is known in real life will be buried on March 17 but the venue for her funeral is not known yet.
