It seems the rivalry between Shatta Wale and Criss Waddle has been reignited as Shatta in a subtle way has replied Waddle’s song directed at him.
Few minutes after Criss Waddle dropped “Opana”, Shatta released “Don’t Try” where he is heard saying, “I go end your career”.
He also referred to his target as “fake American”, “pampers boy”, “monkey” and “kojo besia”.
Criss Waddle in his “Opana” track said Shatta is a dancehall queen; not a king. He also said “Opana” is a toothless bulldog who wears a fake attire despite his pride. [You remember the ADLDAS hoodie, right?]
The friendship between the two artistes suffered following the “Bie Gya” controversy. Criss Waddle labelled Shatta Wale as an ingrate and a thief after the latter released his ‘Bie Gya’ song. Criss stated he was the first to have recorded a song with that title only for Shatta to ‘outsmart’ him.
He also accused the dancehall artiste of using sorcery to stop the shine of other artistes he cannot compete with.
Well, that’s a lyrical war!
