Music is in her blood and she looks forward to singing for the rest of her life. Jane Awindoh is only 19 yet a rising star in Ghana?s music arena.

After grabbing the 3rd position at the maiden edition of Stars of the Future, a musical talent hunt staged in Ghana earlier this year, she is now poised to work on her young and fragile career in music.

She told Selase Attah of myAnanse.com after a heartwarming performance at the 2006 Miss Malaika launch that she is currently working on an album with Irene and Blu 3 of Uganda and it?s due for release soon.

?It?s kind of difficult mixing school with career and stardom but I?m used to it? the 1st year student of the University of Ghana said.

She inspired fellow young people to believe in themselves no mater what anybody thinks about them. ?If you have something in you and you know that?s exactly what you want to do, just go for it because you might not know?.

?If you can sing, sing? if you can dance, dance and if you can study, do it. Just be yourself and you will win?.

Jane has been singing actively since the age of six and believes she got a long way ahead. ?Ten years from today I will be on the giant billboards?, she noted.

?My greatest wish in life is to be where God wants me to be specifically a great musician who would express herself in songs to all music lovers?, she said.
