Jojo Abot’s is one of Africa’s promising talents and her blend of Afrobeats, Jazz and electronic blend of music can be best felt in her newest singled: Aim Straight ft DJ Kofi released in this month of November on all airwaves across Ghana.
The song; Aim Straight is channeled at those who believe in the power of the continent, thus, the fusion of local indigenous lines took centre stage. Her unique technique translated in the delivery of her lyrics.
Her arrangement of rhythm and passion to deliver beyond what many of her doubters presumed when she first came back to Africa seems to be paying off with the free flow as produced by award winning DJ Kofi who also featured on the single.
Jojo Abot has performed at different international functions including the African Arts and Fashion Banquet which was powered by African Fashion Week London at The Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London, at the Alliance Francaise, Goethe-Institut, National Theatre and the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel.
She has also performed in many live shows at Accra's best jazz spots like +233 Jazz, Bat & Grill, Taverna Tropicana and a number of live venues in New York City, amongst others.
With her new single now released, she is undoubtedly poised to become a well sought after soul songstress.
