Kofi Kinaata to tour Europe in honour of his Europe-based fans

Ghanaian rapper, Kofi Kinaata has disclosed his intentions to tour Europe this year.

Although the rapper did not disclose the timelines, he indicated that in the next one and a half month he will be out of the country.

Kinaata who was adjudged the artiste of the year at the Western Music Awards indicated that his tour is in honour of his fans in Europe.

The rapper also gave clarity to claims that he is too big to be adjudged Artiste of the year at the Western Music Awards.

He said that what he said was twisted and that all he meant was to make the organisers aware of the fact that there was the need to rather award the up and coming artistes in the region in order to provide them the needed attention to propel the career rather than already made artistes.

“This is my second time winning the same award. I suggest that next time our names should not be added. The opportunity should be given to the ‘up and coming’ artistes more,” he told Takoradi-based Connect FM.

He further said “Imagine if the Artiste of the Year was a certain Welbone. This is a name nobody knows! When reported in the news, people from all over, would be interested in knowing that Welbone who won Artiste of the Year in the Western Region.”
