Kojo Antwi As part of activities marking this year's Christmas and New Year celebration, the management of Spacefm has put in place a package to entertain its listeners and the people of the Brong Ahafo Region.
According to the Events and promotions Department of the Station, the package is made up of a Beauty Pageant on the 26th of December, dubbed Miss B. A. 2004, which is being sponsored by Tab-Mensah Enterprise, Gemini Life Insurance Company, Steven Material Shop and Geo Kwarts Hotel Limited, and a Mega Musical Concert, featuring Kojo Antwi on the 1st of January 2005, at the renovated Centre for National Culture in Sunyani.
Speaking to our news team, the Director/General Manager of Space FM, Mr Ransford Antwi, explained that the people in the Region have been travelling outside during Christmas with the excuse that there are no quality programmes to entertain them and it is for this reason that the station decided to come up with the package.
He further said the Centre for National Culture which is expected to serve as a platform for the promotion of culture has been abandoned for so many years now.
This has killed the interest of the youth in particular and our cultural heritage.
That is why Spacefm has taken the step to re-juvenate the centre.Already,the announcement has generated huge interest among residents of Sunyani and the Brong Ahafo Region.
The two shows will be broadcast live on the internet to enable Ghanaians abroad have their fair share of the fun.
