The event which is being organized under the auspices of the Nigerian High Commission in Accra is aimed at promoting friendship and brotherliness between Ghanaians and Nigerians living in Ghana and will be held at the AMAZON Nite Club, located at the Tetteh Quarshie interchange at the former Secaps Hotel with a pre-party on Friday June 30, 2006.
Artists billed to perform include Rugged Man, who is claimed to be Nigeria?s hottest rapper on the scene at the moment and OMOTOLA, the sensational Nigerian actor and hip hop artist alongside Ghanaian musicians like Kwaw Kese, Wutah, TicTac, Dasebre Dwamena, B. Black, Ghana?s newest emerging female hip life artist and EBO, the young sensational dance hall artist and little brother of TV and radio presenter Bola Ray whose song Once, Twice on Appietus Compilation has been making significant waves in recent days.
According to Michael Mensah, CEO, ONETRYBE Entertainment, the event which celebrates friendship is the first of a series of programmes lined up to boost the entertainment industry.
?Ghanaians and Nigerians are arch rivals when it comes to football, but at least there be could be an event where people from both countries could come together as one and socialize-and this is what we have set to achieve?, he said.
