Lippy, K-Hi Bangit to perform at Ghana Music Awards UK 2017

Coming off this Saturday, September 16; the voices on 'ExGirl' song, Lippy and K-Hi Bangit will be performing at the Ghana Music Awards UK 2017 to be held at the Gaumont Palace, London, UK.

The two, who collaboratively produced the 'ExGirl' song earned a nomination in the New Uncovered Artist of the year category.

'ExGirl' is a song that tells stories about their former intimate partners, who keep stalking them to be updated on their progress in life on photo sharing social media platforms- Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.

Formerly known as Righteous P; Lippy took a keen interest in music in his teens.

He studied sound engineering and has since been heavily involved in rapping, songwriting and producing for a range of different music genres including Hip-hop, R&B, Pop, and Afro-Pop genres. He is also a rising actor, who has starred in movies and series including The Bill – UK police drama, Side Winders – Series on SKY T.V.

Stage named K-Hi Bangit (Kofi-High Bangit), his music life began while he was mainly a drummer with a traditional drumming and dancing troupe. He is very familiar with traditional instruments created in Ghana and some parts of Africa.

He has also played with some individual bands that played for artists like Efya, Sammie B, Okomfuo Kwadie, Stonebwoy, and Kofi B, among others.

Other performers on the night include Wutah, Eazzy, Ebony, Ohemaa Jacky, Rev. PK Boadi, Hannah A. Donkor, Loveradge, Guru, a few to mention.

Ghana Music Awards UK is an award scheme that seeks to recognise the achievements of our Ghanaian artists based in the UK.
