Directed by Makere Thekiso, accompanying visuals for rapper M.anifest’s recent love single, “Me Ne Woa”, add to a sterling catalogue of music videos he has dispatched over a magnificent career.

Full of colour, and arresting imagery, the piece, shot on the coasts of Jamestown (Accra), portrays a love story resilient despite tribulations.

“Me Ne Woa” features fast-rising singer King Promise and was produced by Reynolds The Gentleman for Singitdamnit Music. It follows other well-received 2017 offerings as ”Be My Woman” featuring MI Casa “Azumah Nelson Flow”, and “Do My Own” featuring bigBen.

M.anifest (Kwame Ametepee Tsikata) is the grandson of leading African ethnomusicologists and composer J.H. Kwabena Nketiah, and has authored multiple first-rate albums including Nowhere Cool (2015).

Over the years, he has been associated with Rocket Juice and The Moon, Damon Albarn, Flea, Tony Allen, Erykah Badu, Richy Pitch, Efya, EL, Sarkodie, Brymo, Jayso, Worlasi, Nomisupasta, Evil Twin, Wanlov the Kubolor, Checkmate, Desdamona, Coptic, HHP, Bisa KDei, Camp Mulla, Obrafour and a host of others.

He’s also a recipient of several laurels including Best Rapper and Hip-Hop song of the Year at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards.
