After a thrilling performance at last years Music of Ghanaian Origin (MOGO) Osibisa are back again upon special request with the full complement of the original band to fete revellers to their blend of music.
Citi 97.3fm's annual MOGO festival comes off on the 1st of December, 2006 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
This year's edition of the MOGO will be launched in the Ashanti Region with a cultural exposition at the Apatakese of the Kumasi Cultural Centre on the 25th of November,2006 at exactly 7:00pm
The launch would feature a variety of Ghanaian music and dance from different regions of Ghana which include Folkloric Dance Companies and Bands featuring dances such as:
# Adowa, Kete, Sekyi, Nwomkoro, & special Fontomfrom by James Acheampong of Ammamerso Agofomma Group.
# Traditional Guitar Band with Prenpensewa, Densuom & Traditional Instruments from Ashewa BB Collins.
# Nagla, Bamaya,Tora with Otweediampong Cultural Troupe.
# Special Fontomfrom by James Acheampong.
Main MOGO event (Highlife Sunsplash) - Friday 1st December 2006 at the Accra International Conference Centre
This will be an entertaining night of Ghanaian music performances featuring:

* Daniel Amponsah alias Agya Koo Nimo
