MTV Base on Saturday unveiled to Ghana’s showbiz top guns, the complete video of the remix of Kwaw Kese’s new single “Who Be You”, featuring Professor J, at the Aphrodisiac night club in Accra.
The music video was put together as part of “MTV Base Making The Video Challenge With Shell”. Watch Odiem by Kwaw Kese
The initiative was designed to challenge as well as empower young directors and movie-makers to develop their skills to improve the quality of music video production on the continent.
Thus, Kwaw’s video was produced by a team of Ghanaian music video directors under the supervision of Anthony Mandler, a veteran director of videos of 50 Cent, Beyonce, Sean Paul, Jay Z, Rihanna among other top stars.
The video would subsequently be aired on MTV Base to give it international exposure as well as shown on local TV channels.
The project for the multiple MTN 2008 music awards winner was launched on September 17 at the African Regency Hotel in Accra. Kwaw Kese and Professor J expressed their profound gratitude to MTV for coming up with the great opportunity to showcase African acts to the international world.
