‘One Corner’ hitmaker, Patapaa, known in real life as Justice Amoah has revealed that his Agona Swedru fans made his song popular at the Akwambo Festival.

Speaking to Deloris Frimpong Manso on her Delay show, the leader of ‘Pa2pa soldiers’ said, “during the festival the song was all over the town and I was surprised.”

He said one of his ‘soldiers’ starts gyrating whenever he was called to perform at functions.

He later contacted the guy and invited him to join the group and that he liked his moves.

“The behaviour of the guy got people to behave the same anytime the track is played” he stated.

The ‘One Corner’ song comes with its dance where a person is seen gyrating in different forms, some even take to gutters, parked cars and corners of building blocks.

The dance that accompanied the song received a lot of flak from people including gospel artiste Sonnie Badu and Kwasi Kyei Darkwah but the song eventually was nominated for the ‘Most Popular Song of the Year’ at the ended VGMAs.

Unfortunately, Patapaa lost that slot to Fancy Gadam’s 'Total Cheat.'
