Hiplife star and former boyfriend of Nana Ama Mcbrown, Okyeame Kwame, says he wasn’t surprised when he first learnt of her break up with businessman Nana Wiafe Akenteng. He told Showghana.com that Nana Ama is a very hard girl for any man to handle so it didn’t come as a surprise when she called him and broke the news of her break up.
“I know her quite well…she’s not the type of lioness that you can easily cage. She’s not a walkover. She’s quite tough and she gets her way. Relationship is about compromises and when she wants to fool there is no compromising. She goes about it; whether you beat her, kill her or not. When it happens like that it makes it quite difficult unless she changes her mind or has a change of heart. The way I know her, it will be difficult for anyone to keep her as a wife,” he explained with some hesitation.
On whether he thinks she might have changed since then, Okyeame Kwame said Nana Ama Mcbrown is the only person who can confirm it only through her actions.
The relationship between Nana Ama Mcbrown and Nana Wiafe Akenteng began when she broke up with Okyeame Kwame. Early this year, Nana Ama broke up with Nana Wiafe citing irreconcilable differences but the news leaked to the press months after. Nana Wiafe is at present based in the U.S.A.
Okyeame Kwame, also known as the Rap Doctor, mentioned the great respect he has for Nana Ama for the help she offered during their relationship. “I think the fact that I went out with her was a very good platform for me to jump back into stardom, apart from the fact that she was the strength behind my solo project-minus my family. Her time, energy and everything went into making it,” he admitted.
