Few days after the release of Shatta Wale’s ‘Gringo’ video, most music fans and enthusiasts have been expressing their opinions on its quality.
The video which was premiered on MTVBase and Zylofon TV on Friday is a new single taken off Shatta Wale’s upcoming ‘Reign’ album. Captured in a short film, it was directed by internationally-recognized video director, Sesan Ogunro, for Film Factory and produced by David Nguyen.
The film which cast over 20 international actors in what is arguably tagged as the most expensive video shot by any homegrown artiste from Africa, was shot in the province of Blanco, Texas, USA, at the Buggy Barn Museum and cast in the 1880s.
Sesan Ogunro, is a UK-based Nigerian video producer, director and 3D Animator, who is widely recognized for quality works done for the likes of French Montana, D’Banj, Tiwa Savage, MI, Sarkodie, Davido and many others.
Shatta Wale's management at Zylofon Music, has said that this is the most expensive music video the dance hall king has produced in the history of his music career.
