The fundraising event is dubbed ?Supporting Youth Education in Ghana, Together We Can Make A Difference?. It is also in conjunction with the Asante Cultural Organizations in North America with a special Asanteman sponsored Scholarship Fund Dance. Supporting Nana on stage is also a live appearance by one of Mr. CNN?s favourite top Ghanaian Artist, Anuanom from NY (Just check their new CD out now). The lengendary DJ Katabo would be there to offer his support.
The date for this occasion is May 29th at the Minisink Town Hall in Harlem. Daasebre Anane Amponsah who just came from Ghana after the celebration of the Adae Kese Festival in Kumasi told Mr. CNN that he is inviting Ghanaians from all over the world to come to this fundraising event to help support youth education in Ghana and indeed together we can make a difference. Knowledge is power and education is the key to success.
During the day of the event, there would also be a conference to be held at a separate location.
