Obour And V.I. P Feature At MTV Base Live! Party In Accra

Obour (featuring Batman) and V. I. P (featuring Mad Fish) will be Ghana’s hiplife stars who will get to show their pace when South African hiphop sensations, SAMA (South African Music Award’s) winner Skwatta Kamp comes to Accra town for the first installment of Africa’s hottest urban party by MTV base.

One party night not be missed, MTV Base LIVE! which comes off at Warehouse Nite Klub in Accra, Saturday May 28, is by courtesy of pan- African music television channel, MTV base (as seen in Ghana on DSTV). It is sponsored by Nokia.

20 year old superstar DJ Ruckus – resident DJ at one of the hottest parties in New York, ‘Sundays at Lotus’ – is also flying in from New York, USA for his first ever appearance in Ghana to show off what makes him one of the world’s top DJs.

All the action from the party including performances, party people and backstage excitement will be captured by MTV Base camera crews, ready to broadcast as part of the MTV Base LIVE! TV programme.

Showcasing the hottest music news, behind the scenes gossip and celebrity news from across Africa, the evening will presented by brand new MTV base presenter, Nadia Bitar, the channel’s ultra-smooth, ultra gorgeous presenter from Liberia – and the first African presenter on MTV base.

And Accra’s cool party crowd will be party of the programme too, since the special MTV Base camera booth, ‘What’s Up Africa’, will be on-site at the venue to capture candid comments feedback and gossip from those in the know!
