If there is one artiste who can demystify the fact that artistes who win awards at Ghana Music Awards ?fall out? afterwards then it certainly will be Ofori Amponsah, aka Mr All 4 Real.
Barely two months after winning the unprecedented seven awards at this year?s Ghana Music Awards, All 4 Real is making waves with his latest album She Nika.
At a recent interview on TV Africa?s Viewer?s Choice, All 4 Real revealed that 25,000 copies had been sold in less than a week after the release of the album and expressed gratitude to his teeming fans for believing in him.
?I am grateful to God for this great talent He has given me and to my fans for being there for me. There is no way I can make it without you,? he said with sincerity written all over his face.
Showbiz caught up with him in the company of his manager, Mufti Dabre and in his usual calm nature, All 4 Real again expressed gratitude to God and his fans for taking him higher and higher up the success ladder.
Asked why he has released another album when songs on his award winning Otoolege are still enjoying massive airplay, he said ?Trust me I can afford to release every six months by God?s grace, mine is a God-given talent so there is no limit to what I can do.?
Now here?s what will confirm this reporter?s conviction that All 4 Real is not done with awards at all both locally and internationally.
Just last Saturday, he was awarded at the International Reggae and Music Awards for Intercultural Exchange in New York.
All 4 Real was not there to take his award but will be in the United States this weekend to prepare for a mega show in Chicago on May 27.
?I will perform at the House of Blues in Chicago and that for me, is going to be my biggest international shows ever because a musician needs to have sold at least a million copies to qualify for a performance at that venue,? he said.
While there, All 4 Real will outdoor his latest work to the Yankee folks. Interestingly, the album seems to have two titles, the already-released cassette is titled She Nika while the CDs have Emmanuella as title.
Manager and head of All 4 Real?s management team, Mufti Dabre disclosed that three mega launches are being planned for the award-winning artiste, ?we will have the launches in June at the Rawlings Park in Accra, Kotokuraba in Cape Coast and Kejetia in Kumasi.?
The whole idea, according to Mufti is to bring the latest work to the doorstep of fans and also give them the chance to freely interact with their idol.
Meanwhile a good number of songs on the album are enjoying massive airplay. These include personal favourites Emmanuella So Nice and She Nika, Pe Poo Po, Akyaa Pa and Broken Heart.
Other songs on the potential award-winning album which is a 4Reez Westside Music Centre production and being distributed by The Shepherd Music Production and 4Reez Westside Music Centre are Celebrity and Mr & Mrs.
As usual, ALL 4 Real did not do it all alone but featured artistes from his camp like Kofi Nti, Barosky, King Chorus and Richie who all played their roles effectively with the Mega Star Band backing with live vocals to make the album another must-listen.
