He can be described as Ghana’s leading artiste currently, releasing hit after hit every year for the past eight years. He is adored by numerous fans worldwide and has established himself as an icon in the music industry in Africa.

Ofori Amponsah, aka ‘Mr All 4 real’ has carved a niche for himself as one of the leading musicians in Ghana today.

Anyone who has had the opportunity to listen to his songs or seen him live in concert would attest to the fact that not only is he ready to take the local music industry to another level, but also capable of mounting a stage anywhere in the world and would compete favourably with internationally-acclaimed music artistes.

With a voice and talent which he describes as a special gift from God, Mr All 4 Real is set to rock the music scene in Ghana and the world again with his latest bouncing album.

All his albums released on the music market have been very successful and this time around Ofori Amponsah has dropped another bouncing album titled, Edwo.

The songs on the album were first released on Fiifi Banson’s drive-time programme on Peace FM two weeks ago. Mr All 4 Real hinted that the album would be officially released in two weeks time.

In a chat with him at the weekend, he hinted that the new album, which would be released later in the year, features some of his new styles in music and remixes, which he hopes would be accepted by Ghanaians.

Songs on the new album, which featured Samini, include “Kwame Ko”, “Barbeque”, “Yaa Boakyewaa”, “Nothing But Love” and “Highlife Dancing”.

The release of this new album falls in line with Ofori’s policy of delivering an album each year. His previous album, “Emmanuella” was an award-winning one and is still on music charts across the country. This would be the first time Ofori Amponsah is releasing a two-in-one album made up of twenty-five tracks.

His ability to create appropriate imagery for the subjects of his songs are highly commendable.

He uses Asante Twi extensively and occasionally chips in some English phrases or words.

Almost all those addicted to Ofori’s songs thought his latest album is exceptionally appealing because they see traces of their own love affairs in the message of the songs.

It was astounding to see the huge crowd that greeted him at the venue where he exhibited his prowess as Ghana’s most acclaimed singer.

His gigs also earned him another accolade as one of the most thrilling artistes in the sub-region when he doled out gripping performances to thousands of fans in Liberia.

The audience simply could not hold their bodies stiff as they moved rhythmically to melodies from the superstar.

Comparatively, Ofori Amponsah has become a Michael Jackson to frenzied music fans in Ghana and beyond.
