If you needed a reason to read and watch The New Years Eve concert at Waverly Oaks, I have two words for you: Oheneba P. K.”"is that two words.

In an electrifying concert on a freezing night, the rapper from Connecticut became the biggest star to perform in Boston. A lot of people thought he would not come, given warnings of a bad weather but he proved them all wrong.

The night was quite a feast.

Oheneba P. K. gave more than an amazing performance with his waist jiggling dancers, Baby Eve and Olivia Agbo.

Producing one of the most ambitious shows in the history of Ghanaian music, the contemporary highlife and hiplife artiste delivered a performance rarely seen in the states, he did not only have Ghanaians standing on their feet but he had the Kenyans, Ugandans, South Africans, South Americans and Whites all on the dancing floor at the moment his song started booming from the speakers from the four walls of the venue.

“A lot of people were on the dancing floor dancing to my music and they did not even understand the language. The fans out there kept saying I had stolen the whole show and they did enjoy themselves”, Oheneba P. K. the highlight man of the nite said.

The main organizer came up to me and said, I have really kept my promise and he was happy the people really embraced me even though they did not understand the language.

After Oheneba P. K.’s, Robert Kasule the organizer of the concert personally walked to him and thanked him for the dazzling performance he whipped up though most Africans did not understand his local Twi language.

Currently there is a mad rush for Oheneba P. K. as he gears up for his tour but his managers have been generous by letting us have his number so you can book him for shows by calling Akwasi Wiredu and Adu Gyamfi on (001) 860-997-0234, his email at nanabenny@sbcglobal.net.

Considering how many non-Ghanaian were in the crowd, it is a proud thing to see a rap act put on a show not only as good as any rap act, but better.

He had to rub shoulders with African heavyweights like Roy Kapale, Mardder Ranks and La Unik.

This was a straight-up stunning show and Oheneba P.K. was a straight-up rock star for the New Year.
