Okyeame Quophi shares a piece of himself

Okyeame QuophiOkyeame Quophi is one big superstar Ghana is very proud of. He is a Hiplife artist and a broadcaster. He was part of the Hiplife revolution from its inception 10 years ago with his pal, Okyeame Kwame.  His group, Akyeame, did split not long after their return home from the United States of America.

He went to the U.S shortly after completing sixth form and later undertook short refresher courses in recording engineering in Ohio State and has since been into broadcasting.



He is the C.E.O of Emklan Entertainment, a video production unit and a recording studio. Okyeame Quophi is the host of Accra-based Hot FM’s evening rush hour program.

On who his mentor is he said, “I have been thought since I was a little kid that you learn from the greatest. And I have also been thought that the greatest in this world is the highest God, so in a nutshell, He is my mentor”. He further stated, “Although I don’t see him, I communicate with him to teach me.”



His most unforgettable happiest moment is the day Stacy of “music music” fame gave him a bouncy baby girl and he remarked, “I went to have a little fun and God gave me a beautiful gift”.
