Osibisa To Rock MOGO 2006

MOGOAfter a thrilling performance at last years Music of Ghanaian Origin Festival (MOGO) Osibisa are back again upon special request with the full complement of the original band to fete revellers to their blend of music. Citi 97.3fm's annual MOGO festival comes off on the 1st of December, 2006 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

This years event will assemble the cr?me de la cr?me of Ghanaian music to include performances from Agya Koo Nimo, Ben Brako, George Darko, Paapa Yankson, Thomas Frimpong and Paulina Oduro, all of whom are fully poised to excite the audience.

MOGO 2006 has been expanded to start with a launch of the weeks festivities in Kumasi with a cultural exposition at the Apatakese of the Kumasi Cultural Centre.

This launch would feature a variety of ghanaian music and dance forms from the different regions of Ghana.The MOGO Concert with Osibisa and others comes off on Farmers Day a statutory public holiday in Ghana.
