Randy Misses London Launch

Mon, 4 Oct 2004 Source: ghanamusic.com

Hard luck for Randy Noonoo. He can no longer launch his latest album, Khaki Supporter in London, as he planned to do.

Last Monday, while he was waiting for the red lights to change at the Lapaz traffic lights he was robbed of his briefcase, containing all his travel documents. Randy was to fly to London today ahead of this weekend?s launch which was planned as the first in a series of launches in Europe, Canada and Ghana.

However, Randy Noonoo has told Showbiz that he is not perturbed with this misfortunate and trusts that God is in control.

For the first time in the career of the young musician, his album is gaining more recognition on the international market than he expected. Ghanaian communities in the UK, Germany, France, America and Canada have shown more interest in his latest album than music fans at home.

Mr. John Addo, the PRO for Randy Noonoo told the Showbiz that the second track ?Entwa Na Ewoso? which is more of a love story but is in funky field musical format appears to be the track which is driving the album. He said that the domestic issues the song addresses, is the main reason for its acceleration in high demand on the European circuit.
