Reggy Zippy explodes again

After an immensely successful maiden album and an European tour, Reggy Zippy, the young hiplife artiste who emerged on the scene with the hit songs “Virgin”, “For Sale”, “Ye No Ntem” and “Atadwe” which became the new hit in Europe after the tour, has released yet another bombshell of an album.

The album titled “Agye Nyame”, released since Monday 28th June 08 is receiving incredible airplay on all radio stations across the country. Already songs like “Engaged”, “Adoma”, “W’anyem Obi Ba”, “London Bridge” and “Agye Nyame”, the titled track are rapidly becoming big hits from the intense rotation by Radio DJs.

Very humble, though extremely talented, “Reggy Zippy’s a likeable guy” says Root Eye, veteran dancehall artiste and Reggy’s manager.

Reggy Zippy seems to have it all going smoothly for him and many wonder if there’s any juicy record deal but no it is an independent release on Luk Shaap Entertainment label. Micky Darling of Peace 104.3 FM hinted that the music is so good “Brothers” have decided to support it.

Plans are far advanced for a nationwide tour, which will take Reggy Zippy to every corner of the country to meet, interact and entertain his fans since he could not do so with the first album.

Reggy seems to have had it all on a silver platter. He was whisked away on the European tour about four months after the release of that album. This time round Reggy Zippy fans should brace themselves for the “Agye Nyame Tour” and catch the train wherever it stops.
