Ghana's international musician and global activist, Rocky Dawuni, will be appearing in Europe this May for a two week run of dates that will take him to Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Greenland.
Rocky has been invited to perform at dates including the legendary Afro Pfingsten Festival in Switzerland as well as Katuaq Festival in Greenland and much more.

Rocky will be backed by his all-star Los Angeles based band including Michael Hyde (Ziggy Marley,) Ijeoma Njaka (Social Distortion,) Edward Dixon (Lauren Hill,) Jamon Laws (Ronnie Laws) & more surprises!
Rocky has had a very busy year having just come off a series of shows in Africa, Cambodia and the US! He was invited by the Red Cross of Kenya to play alongside top Kenyan stars for the Chagua Peace Concert in Nairobi that was an integral part of Kenya’s efforts to maintain peace during their recent election.
He then headed over to Ghana for the Ghana Music Week, which included a massive show at the Accra Sports Stadium and culminated with the Ghana Music Honors at the National Theatre in Accra where he performed for the Minister of Tourism amongst other dignitaries.
Rocky was also honored with the “International Artist Award” by the Musicians Union of Ghana in recognition of his role as the Ghanaian who is doing the most to project music outside of Ghana at the event.
As an Ambassador for the UN Foundations Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves, Rocky was invited to their Global Forum, which took place in Cambodia in March where he addressed and sang for dignitaries from around the world.
Rocky then headed to the US where he joined R &B Star, John Legend for a high profile celebrity fundraiser in Beverly Hills in early April for Women’s Campaign International which garnered rave reviews.
Ghana’s international music star Rocky Dawuni has leveraged his popularity within and without of the Continent to champion social causes and inspire a generation of artists and fans alike. Dawuni’s eloquence as well as his successful melding of musical celebrity and social action has made him a spokesperson for various causes worldwide.
Over the last few years, his music and electric live performances have attracted thousands to his concerts.
Rocky’s upcoming new album, “Afro Roots,” fully captures his unique fusion of Afro Beat and Reggae while confirming him as an artist in the tradition of both Fela Kuti and Bob Marley in utilizing his music to uplift, unify and inspire.
