An eyewitness at the scene of the accident involving multiple award-winning rapper, Sarkodie and Amakye Dede has blamed the rapper to be the main cause of the collision.

According to a video sighted on Instagram, it appears a very livid person was accusing Sarkodie and his team of causing the accident and fleeing the scene.

According to the video, Sarkodie and his team did not even take time to see if anyone was hurt but were whisked away into another car.

The eyewitness indicated that the act of bolting from such an incident was very inhuman on the part of the ‘Highest’ album maker when they knew full well that they were the ones responsible for the accident.

He went on to reveal that after the accident, Sarkodie's team removed posters of the concert that were on the car. It is however uncertain why they did that. The footage also showed a car belonging to one of the victim’s in a ditch which was apparently filled with a family.

He added that the occupants of his car were safe and was thankful that no harm had come to them. On April 2, it was reported that Sarkodie was involved in an accident on the Accra-Kumasi while en route to Agogo in the Ashanti region for a concert hosted by veteran musician, Amakye Dede. There were no casualties recorded.

Just a few days to the funeral of Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, popularly known as Ebony Reigns, Sarkodie recorded a song about road safety and called on all responsible bodies to be up and doing to curb the canker.
