Sarkodie is not dead! The 2012 BET Best International Act (Africa) co-award winner is “safe and sound”, his Business Manager Sammy Forson has said.
Social media on Thursday evening buzzed with rumours of his death, with some accounts claiming the young musician had been involved in an accident on the Kintampo road, in the Brong Ahafo Region.
Both artiste and Business Manager quickly took to Twitter to speak to the rumour. While Sammy Forson brushed it off, insisting his artiste was “safe and sound”, the latter called it “useless news”.
Both responses calmed the nerves of fans and family friends who had placed frantic phone calls within the first one hour of the rumour mongering (some of which came to this website), to find out the authenticity or otherwise of the claim.
The unfortunate development comes few days to the release of Elijah, a Hammer of the Last Two-produced single featuring Obrafour, and off his upcoming Sarkology album.
