Sexy Actress Stars In Becca's New Video

The third video from Becca’s highly anticipated sophomore album is due for release this weekend. T he video for the song, “African Woman” would start showing on Metro TV, TV3, e.TV Ghana and on the internet. The video which was shot in Akosombo, has Becca taking on a completely new personality, different from what the public is used to.

She displayed her acting prowess as she played a common village girl and a street hawker who had dreams and later achieved them. Sexy actress Martha Ankomah made appearance in the video as she also played a street hawker who despite advances and entices from guys still stayed on her dream. The video ends with the inscription “Diamonds take the character form the African Woman” in English and French.

The song is an appraisal to the beauty, character and personality of the African woman. It was used as the theme song for last season’s TV3 Ghana’s Most Beautiful. The “Daa ke daa” singer performed it for the first time during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, which was held in South Africa. It is yet to be performed at any function in Ghana.“Push” is a club banger with a blend of contemporary and folk inputs. It features Trigmatic and King Ayisoba. While Becca signs in English and Twi, Trigmatic raps in English and King sings his bit in his native Frafra.
