Sensational gospel musician and worshiper, Ernest Opoku has stated categorically that some colleagues in the gospel industry are not called by God.

According to the “Adom Bi Apue” hitmaker on Price 107.3 fm Personality Show with Dayan Aduhene Kwarteng in Kumasi, answering why people continue to say that the gospel artistes are lazy, Ernest said it is because some of the artistes are not from God.

“The gospel industry is doing well and it’s never true that we are lazy. Just that some of us are not called by God. They think that some of us have been able to buy cars, traveled to many places and so on and that the have to force themselves through.

Gospel music is a spirit. For someone to be delivered through gospel music, it means that there is a spirit following the music.

Last year I was watching a gospel music video on television and in fact, it was very bad. You can’t even tell what the person meant. You should be guided by God before you can bring out good gospel music.”

Ernest Opoku known in the industry as the “Spirit Man” is one of the few worshipers in the gospel music who through his music has made impacts in the lives of many.

He is best known for his works including Adom bi apue, Wanfa amfri osoro amma woa, Aseda, just to mention a few..

Ernest Opoku is currently promoting his new song, “My Lord is good”.
