Courtesy Charterhouse, Ghanaians will soon witness another striking and unique reality show - Stars of the Future.

Over the years, Ghanaians have witnessed a number of attempts to create stars out of young talented individuals through hunts.

Perhaps with the exception of the Nescafe African Revelation contest which made stars out of three talented musicians, the nation is probably yet to produce either a comedian or a musician who can stand up to internationally acclaimed artistes.

It is from this background that Charterhouse, the nation?s biggest and most credible event organizers have taken the step to create stars out of young talented artistes.

According to the Event Director of Charterhouse, Mrs. Theresa Ayoade, during the first quarter of this year, the search will be targeted at young talented individuals between the ages of 16 - 25, who have outstanding personalities and aptitude for singing and comedy.

She said, what distinguishes Stars of the Future from many other talents hunts is that; interested participants need to have good command of the English language and any Ghanaian language.

After a selection period, which starts on the February 3, performances of the participants will be presented to the general public on a national television as a reality TV show?

During the show, viewers and the general public will get to see exactly how talented the selected contestants are. The reality TV show will telecast the real performances of the contestants and will not necessarily be in the form of the ?Big Brother Africa? contest which is also another form of a reality TV show.

Winners of the competition, both in the music and comedy categories of the competition, will be given 50 million cedes cash prize, a recording contract for the music star, an opportunity to be used as an official charter house or sponsors compere and other attractive packages.
