EL and Stonebwoy won the Hip Hop Artiste of the year and Artiste of the year at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards respectively and were hosted by Kweku Sintim Misa aka KSM on his show on Metro TV.
In a chat with both about issues related to the arts and entertainment industry in Ghana, EL made it known that he and stonebwoy clicked the very first time they met.
He said it while addressing issues about rivalry or bad blood in the music industry.
“When Stonebwoy and I met, the connection between us was just cool, the vibe was ok, we had no issues and all we wanted to do was to be cool with each other and churn out beautiful songs,” he said.
“There are different reasons for which there would be rivalry in the industry. There are some people who just click as soon as they meet and there are others, you just don’t want to have anything to do with,” he added.
According to the Kalu crooner, he has found himself in situation where after meeting and engaging an artiste, he couldn’t feel the connection and so had to detach himself from the person.
“I can attest that, I have met another artiste somewhere and from the way he was talking, I was like, this guy, I can really get close to him,” he said.
