VGMA 'Artist of the Year' nominees
Reactions from social media users concerning the recently released nominees for this year’s VGMA ‘Artiste of the Year’ category have been disappointing.
A cross-section of Ghanaians are unhappy about the likes of Kwame Eugene, Medikal, Sarkodie and Kofi Kinaata ‘grabbing’ nominations for the ultimate category.
Others in astonishment questioned why Sarkodie and Kofi Kinaata particularly, were nominated.
“So what is Sarkodie doing there?” One asked.
“Kofi Kinaata released four songs last year and was nominated for artist of the year?” another queried
Ghanaian Actress, Beverly Afaglo is one of those who couldn’t hide her disappointment at the fact that King Promise was kicked out of that category.
“King Promise is not on this list? Wow ok,” she stated.
