The pathetic story of Kiki Gyan, a former keyboards man of the renowned Osibisa Band, is the subject of the lead story in the Graphic Showbiz. The paper quoting a medical report, says hooked hard on drugs with no place to lay his head, Kiki Gyan, one of Africa's most celebrated keyboard players is "dying slowly" in Accra.

Twice this week, Kiki Gyan is reported to have collapsed under intoxication of hard drugs at a friend's house at Nima, in Accra, where he slept for two days.

The Graphic Showbiz says the 41-year-old musician who shot into international prominence at age 17 and became a millionaire at 19, is now living the life of a lunatic spotted regularly around the Nima public toilet where he is engaged in doping and scavenging. At night he sleeps at the Awudome cluster of schools.
