Rapper Trigmatic, born Enoch Nana Yaw Agyei, has reportedly parted ways with his Manager, Godfred Bosumtwe of Gab Entertainment. Reports say this is due to a continuous misunderstanding between the two.

Details have however not been made public.

Godfred told NEWS ONE on Monday evening that “Trig said he is not happy with my management, so we decided to go our separate ways. But I have other things cooking up and I will let you know.” Trigmatic and Godfred were last spotted at this year’s edition of the MTN Ghana Music Awards (GMAs).

Last Saturday, Trigmatic, on Sammy B’s programme on Hitz FM, recognized the fact that Godfred and Tinny played an influential role in pushing his career to the level it’s gotten to.

Earlier reports indicated that Trigmatic had hinted their split was as a result of money. “Well, I had a two-year contract with him and I have decided not to continue with him no more. In December alone, I played seven major shows to which I was paid well and I don’t even have a car up till date.

I demanded for an account sheet of all our business transactions and concerts we had played last year because I wanted to purchase a few things on my own. And was amazed to know that it was only left with GH¢1,400.

“I don’t see the profits I made from this business because I am a businessman. I can say that from October last year, I played lots of shows from big shows to university shows and more.

I was expecting him to give me a detailed breakdown. I mean to say he used GH¢1000 for costume for this event and that.

We did some promotions when we went to SA but it was partially sponsored and I also paid my own plane ticket. He even took some monies from people without my knowledge,” Ghanamusic.com quoted him.

Trigmatic, who was voted the Best Rapper of the year at the 2011 GMAs, made a breakthrough on the music scene last year with his ‘Permanent Stains’ album. He has become a household name in Ghana’s music industry. Currently Trig is working on his third album and hopes to make an impact.
