The BattleIt all happened so fast their fans couldn’t believe it. Vic and K-Gee made history yesterday by being the first two contestants to be evicted from Ghana’s finest reality TV show, The Battle on TV3. That leaves the battle with 10 contestants to slug it out for the ultimate prize of being the ultimate mentor.

Hakeem, Vic and K-Gee were in the bottom three and they were given the opportunity to prove to the judges that they deserve to be on the battleground.

Mark, Laurencia and Dominic deemed it prudent to save Hakeem and let Vic and K-Gee go. It means their fans are not gonna see them perform on the battle stage again as there is no second chance for evictees.

Things are beginning to heat up as The Battle enters its third week. The least mistake by contestants could get them out of the battleground.

Erico goofed by choosing the wrong song last nite. As Mark Okraku Mantey said, ‘who whispered to him that he could do a Lucky Dube song?’

Cee was as usual in her element with a gospel song, Dela handled Whitney Houston’s difficult song well. Isaac was probably the most energetic on stage with Daasebre Gwamena’s ‘wafom’.

The likes of Cee, Kofi, Joe, Dela, Isaac, Hakeem, Faya, Erico, Paa and Prince have no choice but to take their chances in a competition that’s getting tighter by the week. Next week’s eviction will leave the battle with eight contestants in the house.

Who’s next to leave the battlestage is a question the public will answer on Sunday.
