Ghanaian R&B singer, Chemphe, finally launched his ‘Double P’ project on Saturday August the 11th, 2012, at the Grand Cassamora Hotel in Adjiringano, East Legon.

The ‘Double P’ Project is a campaign for Peace and against Poverty across the world with Ghana as the starting point. In Ghana, the project will be held in Saltpond on August 25th and Jakiti in the Eastern region on November 29th, 2012.

This will not be Henry Randy Agyekum a.k.a Chemphe’s first campaign as he has initiated ‘One People’, and ‘Why you dey treat am bad’ projects before, and it earned him a Peace Ambassador role with a World Bank initiative.

The sleek voice singer has proudly represented Ghana on a huge scale and therefore he believes that the time is now when Ghana is moving into an election mood. ‘If you can eradicate poverty, there will be no war’, Chemphe said.

Chemphe is in the studio cooking something out of this world; also, he is strengthening his promotion of the ‘New Day’ track which is just a tip of the iceberg. The ‘change is gonna come’ crooner is set to launch his album on September 1st. Close sources have it that the album which will feature Irene Logan, Jon German, Dr Cryme, J-Town, Efya and Ball J, is off the hook.

Chemphe is currently a signee under the E-Jam Records.

We caught up with Chemphe to throw more light on the project, so enjoy the video
