Dawu keep Afienya at the bottom

Tema: Visiting Dawu Youngsters played a determined game to hold bottom club, Afienya United to a 1-1 drawn game in their match played at the Tema Sports Stadium.

Determined to lift themselves up from the bottom of the league table, Afienya piled up pressure from the kick-off but could not find the net till the 40th minute when centre forward Ablade Morgan scored the opening goal.

He connected home a free kick by left winger Sampson Amoah.

Dawu rallied up in the second half and snatched the equaliser in the 64th minute through a penalty taken by left winger Joshua Kennedy.

The match from then on generated into rough play and in the process, Dawu's central defender Amoah Tawiah was shown the red card by referee E. Adegah of Keta in the 80th minute.
