What started with hundreds of individuals from the various regions of the country will on Friday night be climaxed at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), where the nation will, for the first time witness the birth of two International Stars, a Music Star and a Comedy Icon.
After being through series of demanding rehearsals, beautiful and outstanding performances and quite uncomfortable sessions of evictions, all is set for the final showdown of Stars.
Come tomorrow night, alongside performances by the number one West Africa?s R & B crooner, Star Plus, the ever hilarious comedian from Nigeria Teju BabyFace, Wutah, Kwabena Kwabena and many others from Ghana, the finalists, Jemima Annor Yeboah, Jane Awindor, Irene Logan, Fredricka Asante, Derrick Diggs and Ramzy Prince Amui will entertain their audience with series of performances while competing to be Ghana?s freshly brewed International Music Star.
Also to compete on the night will be, Kojo Addison, David Oscar and Foster Owusu Amponsah.
For well over four weeks, these three have on several occasions thrilled their live audience and viewers at home with very hilarious and jaw breaking jokes.
They will on Friday do the same for the audience who will be at the AICC. This time, the three?s performance will determine who will be Ghana?s own version of Basket Mouth.
Organized by the biggest event organizers of the country - CharterHouse, Stars of the Future is to unearth the hidden and budding talents of young Ghanaian individuals and to present them as Ghana?s own International Music and Comedy Icons throughout Africa and beyond.
Winners of the competition, both in the music and comedy categories of the competition, will receive cash US $5,000 and $2,000 cash respectively, a recording contract for the music star, an opportunity to be used as an official CharterHouse or sponsors compeer thus for the comedy icon, LG Appliances, Beauty and Hair treatment at 2nd Image for a year and other attractive packages.
Performances by the finalists of Stars of the Future will on Friday night be judged by judges BB Brew, Nana King, Fritz Baffour and one other International Judge. As began, the public will also contribute their quota of judging though Areeba number 1530.
