Gospel music duo Willie and Mike have been adjudged the Best Gospel Group of the year at the first National Gospel Music Awards which was held in Kumasi on Sunday, December 17, 2017.
The duo was in the same group with Adehyemaa, Twinies, and Empraise.
Songstress, Obaapa Christy was adjudged the Best Gospel Artiste of the Year.
She beat off competition from the likes of OJ, Joe Mettle, Akesse Brimpong, Gifty Osei, Diana Antwi Hamilton and Brother Sammy.
Willie and Mike have been active on the music scene for over two decades and recently released their latest gospel single dubbed ‘FAITHFUL GOD’ which was produced by Favour Family Productions.
According to Willie and Mike, FAITHFUL GOD signifies the undying love of God over their lives since they entered into the music scene.
FAITHFUL GOD comes on the back of five successful tracks ‘Me Mpene, Prophecy, Covenant Keeping God, Favour, and Presence’.

Best Worship Song – Sammy Baah
Best Acapella – Alabaster Box
Best Male Vocalist – Ernest Opoku
Lifetime Achievement Award - Prof. Kofi Abraham.
