Wizkid and Davido on stage
On and off besties Wizkid and Davido have seemed to finally put their issues aside giving us more hope for what we've all been waiting for, a collaboration.
The two superstars were all over the gram and snap chat this weekend during a trip to support Akon's ‘Lighting Africa’ movement with performances at a concert in Congo.
In this new found unity, Davido even threw some major shade, in defence of the Starboy, to blogger Linda Ikeji who is currently in a public online war with Wiz.
Although the two arrived separately, Davido and Wizkid both posted a pic of the two in the same jet post-concert.
This public display of a bromance is brilliant since the two go way back but before you get your shoki on, we have seen them pictured together at MTV Mamas last year which prompted Davido hinting at a collaboration shortly afterwards on Twitter.
This was followed by a joint club performance at a club in December last year.
Ultimately it all amounted to nothing, leaving fans disappointed. Things have however taken a new leap after this weekend's show of solidarity so we think that it's only a matter of time before we're dabbing to their new hit or maybe even a joint album? Ok, maybe we’re pushing it a bit.
