Singer, Becca today released the third video from her upcoming sophomore album for television across Ghana and on the internet. I bring you the world premiere of the very African music video for ‘African Woman’ directed by American film maker Samad Davis.
The video which was shot in Akosombo, has Becca taking on a completely new personality, as common village girl and a street hawker. It also features actress Martha Ankomah and a cameo appearance by Becca’s ubiquitous manager, Kiki Banson who took on a rather opposite role in the video. With an open message of ‘Diamonds take the character form the African Woman”, both the video and the song is an appraisal to the beauty, character and personality of the African woman. It empowers women to know their capabilities, and encouraging them to achieve their dreams and potentials.
Enjoy
