Ace musician, Wutah Kobby has launched what is christened the “WUTAH KOBBY” brand to promote himself as a solo artiste following the breakup of the ‘Wutah’ group about two years ago.
Under the new brand, the dancehall and R&B singer wish to attain new heights in the industry owing to the new strong management team, SwagglunaGH which is headed by Mr. Aaron Appiah.
He reiterated the need to bring into play again his God-given talent to the benefit of the society. “I intend to use my brand to its full capacity which includes song writing, singing performances, advertisement and endorsements for business and entertainment purposes.” He said.
As a new brand, the musician is also poised to embark on social responsibilities as a way of giving back to the society.
Reacting to what resulted in the breakup with PV; the musician admitted they “mutually agreed to embark on solo music careers exclusively on business reasons.”
Asked whether he will team up with PV to take any action against the alleged ‘stolen’ of their (Wutah) song “Kotosa” by Nigerian pop singer, Flavour, Kobby admitted they will definitely do so if the need be because they both own the song.
Wutah Kobby currently has an album to his credit dubbed “Selfless Bliss” – his maiden album as a solo artiste which also produced hits like “Tsotsoo”, “Ambulance”, and “Odo Yewu” with the latter two featuring Sarkodie and Kwabena Kwabena respectively.
The “Ambulance” man also took the opportunity to introduce to the press once again his new love song, “Chio Chio” which was officially launched a little over a fortnight ago.
The re-launch saw other players in the industry like E-Nice, Okra and Ephraim supporting the brother.
The management also entreated music lovers and Ghanaians as a whole to appreciate good music and promised to bring out the best out of the gifted singer.
