Ofori Amponsah
One of the most gifted groups ever to emerge in Ghana, Wutah has reacted to the signing of legendary contemporary Hi-life musician Ofori Amponsah to NKZ Music.
The legendary ‘Otoolege’ hitmaker, Ofori Amponsah was signed onto NKZ Music over the weekend on a 5-year deal.
Wutah, the celebrated Ghanaian music duo comprising of Kobby and Afriyie who has also been signed to the popular record label has expressed admiration to Ofori Amponsah’s signing by welcoming him .
In a whatsApp status post,sighted by Razzonline.com,the leader of the group Kobby wrote: “Welcome MR All4Real to our label.#NKZMUSIC @ofori-amponsah11”
Ofori Amponsah became a household name in the early 2000s but left highlife music to do the work of God.He, however, has made another U-turn to highlife after setting up a church where he revealed astonishingly that he was never ordained as a pastor as believed years ago.
The multiple award-winning musician has released a number of hot singles since his return to secular music.
He will officially be unveiled by NKZ Music label in a special unveiling session in a few days time.
NKZ Music label which belongs to celebrated Hiplife/Hip-pop artiste; Guru who is currently out with a hit single track titled ‘Bad Guys’, apart from signing Afia Schwarzennegar as the first and only comedienne on the label, houses celebrated musicians such as Wutah,King Palupa,Singlet and now Ofori Amponsah.
