Regular collaborators Yaa Pono and Stonebwoy announce a new addition for 2018, and because of it’s crafty title, and the public friction that seems to exist between them and colleague Shatta Wale, the song is already being widely perceived as a dig at him.
“Obia Wone Master” (every one has their lord), was produced by KC Beats for Uptown Energy Music.
Author of multiple hits and the Faster than Gods album (2017), Yaa Pono is widely regarded “king of the underground”, and is deemed among the most versatile acts from these parts, expertly blending a range of elements: hiphop, highlife, hip hop, dancehall and Afrobeats.
Come March 24 at the West Hills Mall, he assembles top colleagues including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, King Ayisoba, Edem, Kwaw Kese, Tinny, and a host of others in the “Ponobiom Live in Concert (faster than gods edition)”.
