Songstress Rebecca Acheampong popularly known as Becca is set to host the biggest all girl Concert on the 23rd of December at the National Theatre.
The Concert dubbed The Becca Girl Talk Concert will be an all girl concert not to put all girls on stage but it is an all girl audience.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Becca Tuesday, she disclosed that she and her management EKB records intend to have people like the instrumentalists being all girls adding that everything about the concert is centered around girls.
The concert under the theme “Ultimate girls night out” is to go out there to have fun and also get motivated about being women. Becca explained that the event is going to be like just five (5) girls hanging out but this time on a larger scale and no man will be allowed into the venue. She stressed that everyone in the audience is supposed to be a woman.
Becca stated that as much as women are going to the National theatre to have fun, they are also going there to learn, where prominent women from social class in the society will give little talks during the event to motivate the audience as women.
She noted that the event itself is going to be a two hour event and two hours of performances from her with other female artistes flying from Nigeria and other parts of the world into the country to perform.
Becca was adjudged the Overall Best Video winner at the 2011 edition of the Vodafone 4Syte Music Video Awards at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Becca won the ultimate award of the night for her video African Woman beating off competition from other contenders: 4x4 -Waist & Power, Asem -No More Kpayor, Bra Kevin Beats -Three Headed Beast, Obour -Back to Obour, Okyeame Kwame -Faithful, R2Bees -Ajiee, Jay Ghartey -Waiting for You.
The all girl concert is being organized by Becca’s management outfit, EKB Records.
